Over the past few years, we’ve worked with a bunch of clients in the waste management space. And honestly? We’ve grown to really love these projects.
At some point, we realized something:
- We know the pain points.
- We’ve seen what’s missing.
- We understand how waste crews actually work.
So instead of just building what others ask for, we built the tool we wish existed.
A tool that makes the daily grind a little smoother, and actually works the way waste teams work.

Why We Built It
We’ve worked with waste management teams still relying on clipboards, handwritten notes, and daily stacks of printed schedules. Tools that aren’t connected. Systems that don’t sync. Processes that break the moment something unexpected happens on the route.
We’ve also seen what happens when drivers are expected to use apps that clearly weren’t designed for field work - things that don’t work offline, crash mid-shift, or feel more like a burden than a tool.
So we set out to fix that.
Our goal was simple:
Make a tool that fits into drivers’ lives, without forcing them to change how they work.

How We Built It
We started by talking to the people who actually use these systems: the drivers.
Then we kept talking to them.
And we kept building, testing, breaking, and rebuilding.
What we ended up with is a Progressive Web App that:
- Works offline fully, not just “sort of”
- Feels lightweight but is packed with power
- Doesn’t require re-training your whole team
It’s also modular, which means you can plug in the parts you need and skip the rest.
What It Can Do
Here’s just a peek at what’s inside:
- Mark pickups, volumes, and contamination
- Add photo proof directly from the app
- Log missed pickups with reasons
- Use "Help Mode" to support other routes
- Register extra waste or damaged containers
- Seamlessly sync with your CRM
- Built-in Google Maps integration for real-time navigation and visibility
Need something specific? We can tweak it. That’s the beauty of modular.
A Quick Note Before We Go
This isn’t just another project for us.
It’s the first Codnity Dev product we’ve launched independently.
And yeah, we’re pretty proud of it.
It’s built with care, tested in real conditions, and shaped by the people who actually use it every day.

Don’t be shy, just reach out. We’d genuinely love to show you how it works and talk about what it could do for your team.
